Tilda with daisy .....

The March Magnolia Only Challenge begins today over on the Ribbon Girl blog which is to make a girly card.  I coloured Tilda with copics and added some white dots and some stardust stickles.  I die-cut the Magnolia leaves and swirl from cream cardstock

I added cream satin ribbon in 15mm and 7mm, Astrid vintage style lace, chocolate brown cherry blossom flowers, a cream daisy flower, and piece of ivory organza rose and pearl ribbon.  The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and I distressed all edges with walnut ink.

I hope you will be able to pop over to the blog - there are some fabulous cards made by the very talented design team and you could win a great prize!!

Ribbon, lace, flowers and stickles are all from

Party favour boxes ...

Andrea and I made 5 favour boxes to give to the ladies at my 65th birthday meal last night - we made them to fit a box of Thorntons chocolates - the 4 fellas had boxes made to fit miniature bottles of Glenfiddich.

We used Tilda paper, hot pink 15mm satin ribbon, a flower from a pack of Marshmallow Cottage Garden Blooms sitting on top of a white doiley and two Zva clear crystal flourishes.  The feet are 4 x 11mm flat back pearls.

Flowers, pearls, ribbon, doilies all from The Ribbon Girl

Thank you so much for your lovely messages of  sympathy - Andrea and I really appreciated them - I made this card well in advance and had forgotten all about it until I saw it on the Papertake Weekly Challenge so thought I would pop it on here too.  We are trying to move on and have reopened The Ribbon Girl store

My DT card for this week's Papertake Weekly Challenge 'make your own flowers' - I used a LOTV image and added Gemma pink flat lace, pink pretty blossoms, flat back pearls, Opal White liquid pearls and pink satin ribbon from
