Chocolate Bar Favours .....

Favours for a special afternoon tea - my great niece was 18 this weekend so as well as her exceptionally noisy 'disco' party on Friday night  (I'm definitley getting old) we had a lovely family girlie afternoon tea at Beamish Hall Hotel.  I made the favours using bars of Galaxy chocolate as they have a silver paper wrapper.  I used various pastel colours of everyday spots/gingham paper 12x12 sheets, two wrappers per sheet, then added toning seam binding,  with many types of mulberry paper flowers including roses, daisies, forget me nots, babies breath, carnations, hip rosebuds and various beaded berries with green satin leaves, diecut paper leaves etc.

A summer card with a LOTV image ....

I hope all LOTV fans are entering a card in the August Challenge which closes at 6pm on Sunday evening, so yo'll have to get your skates on!  You can find the challenge over on the LOTV facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/events/534896066714701/  or you can email it to Lucy  lucy@liliofthevalley.co.uk      before 6pm Sunday -  the theme is 'anything goes'

I have made a summer card using an LOTV artpad image (sadly now retired), papers in shades of green from Galeria Papieru 'Game of Colours II'

I added some Spring Green Sugar Sprinkles sheer ribbon, 'Charlotte' white vintage style lace, pink trellis roses and 20mm autumn gold open roses.  The butterfly is a Scrapiniec chipboard and the leaves were diecut from some scraps of Galeria paper

Wedding anniversary card ....

A card for a first wedding anniversary for my son and daughter in law.

I used some of the new Galeria Papieru 'As if in a dream Retro' papers' which were distressed and inked then I added Scrapiniec chipboard shape 6-piece lace corner set, some natural hemp twine in loops, an ivory off/white carnation, a couple of large ivory rosebuds, a cream/pink lily flower, pale pink cherry blossoms, medium pearl rose leaves

The green leaves are diecut with a Magnolia die, the sentiment is computer generated and the bow is made from a scrap of left over silk ribbon

Pink and white ....

I fancied making a white card today so I embossed the bottom layer of paper and diecut the plain top layer.

I added diecut paper leaves, 35mm white satin leaves, white tiny pearl cluster flowers on silver stems, a 30mm pale pink wild rose and a bow made from white tulle all from The Ribbon Girl
