Lilac and Silver Christmas card ....

I made this card with paper from the Galeria 'Purple Rain' 12 x 12 pad, distressed all edges, inked them then added Stardust Stickles for a bit of sparkle - the silver leaves are really sparkly and were cut from card.

I'm still practicing making foam flowers!  All the flowers, buds and green leaves were made by me from Foamiran foam.  The flower centres are ivory beaded berries. I added Mauve Mist vintage style seam binding, some white Charlotte vintage style lace, silver twine and a die cut sparkly snowcut which I made from the left over card after the leaves had been cut.  The sentiment was computer generated

Christmas Rose ...

A vintage style Christmas card using an image and paper from Maja Designs  'I Wish' 6x6 paper stack.  I matted the paper and image onto kraft card, distressed all edges and inked and finished with Stardust Stickles for a bit of sparkle
.

I am just learning how to make flowers from Foamiran flower foam and these two flowers meant to represent a hellebore (Christmas Rose) were made with ivory foam, inked with pink pigment ink around the edges and green in the centre.  I added small peach beaded berries as stamens and added a little dark brown ink to the tips.  shaped the flowers.  I popped in some red/green frosted berries, mulberry holly leaves and a couple of rose leaves

Papers, foamiran, stamens, leaves, ribbon, lace and Stickles all from www.ribbongirl.co.uk

Christmas stocking ....

A Christmas stocking card - I traced around a pattern I had but made it shorter so I could make the fold at the top and still fit the card onto A4 card.  I used vintage style papers from Maja Design 'Home for the Holidays' 6x6 paper stack, inked the edges and added sparkle with some Stardust Stickles.  I used 6mm double sided tape to stick on the frilled 25mm white lace and white tiny pom pom trim

For my flower arrangement I used a white beaded cherry, ivory carnation, 20mm ivory open rose and some silver fabric rose leaves.  I tied a sparkly glass heart to some silver twine then made a bow with white organza ribbon, 3mm silver lame, 4mm white pearl string and natural hemp twine

The tag was part of the 'Home for the Holidays' paper stack

The paper, flowers, ribbons, embellishments stickles and lace are all from The Ribbon Girl

I would like to enter this card into the Maja 'Christmas Card' Challenge

A never ending Christmas card ...

My first attempt at a 'never ending' card!! I found this very difficult to photograph, maybe I will make a video later when someone can hold the phone while I open the various parts of the card :-)

I used the gorgeous papers from the Maja Design  'I Wish' 6x6 pad  but it seemed very odd not to add lashings of flowers and embellishments!!

A Christmas star card .....

the edges of the Maja paper were distressed then inked, finally a little Stardust Stickles was applied to give a bit of sparkle
I die-cut the stars and the silver mounts using a mixture of papers from the Maja Design  'Life in the Country' and Maja Design 'I Wish'  **6x6 pads.  I used a Crea-lies star die set
I adhered each layer using sticky pads to give the star height
My flower arrangement includes  a white beaded cherry, 30m, 20mm and 10mm ivory mulberry paper roses, large paper holly leaves, red oval shiny berries, green/red shiny berries and 3 small pine cones.

The bow is made from silver cord and the sentiment is 'For You' by Scrapiniec.  I finished the card with some 5mm self adhesive pearls.

Flowers, cord, papers, stickles, berries, cherry, leaves and chipboards are all from The Ribbon Girl

Paws for thought ...........

Paws for thought ..... just finished this lovely chunky, cuddly, memory bear who sits almost 12inches high. I used scraps of left over fabric and pieces of fat quarters to test the pattern and will be making more from actual garments.

The bear is a good weight it sits really well without any support.

The bear has nice chunky paws and a nice tummy shape.

I really enjoyed making this bear  -  I originally embroidered the eyes on, then decided I would prefer 'real' eyes, so had to 'unstuff' the head, fit the eyes, re-stuff, then stitch up.  The pattern was from Funky Friends Factory
